To strengthen next-generation battery industrialization, Huzhou MegSolid Energy was established as the company’s advanced manufacturing and R&D base for hybrid solid-state batteries. The facility represents one of China’s earliest mass-production centers dedicated to hybrid solid-state energy storage systems, fundamentally addressing the thermal safety limitations and operational risks associated with conventional lithium-ion batteries.

This is MegSolid’s core intelligent manufacturing workshop dedicated to hybrid solid-state energy storage battery production. Equipped with automated robotic arms and full-process closed-loop assembly lines covering cell feeding, stacking and module packaging, our workshop realizes standardized large-scale mass production of proprietary hybrid solid-state cells. Advanced automated production equipment strictly controls consistency and safety of finished batteries, laying solid production support for global residential, C&I and utility-scale hybrid solid-state energy storage project deliveries, ensuring stable lead time and reliable product quality for worldwide partners and customers.

The MegSolid Energon 5000INTL is a 2.7MW 5MWh containerized battery energy storage system designed for utility-scale renewable energy, grid support, industrial microgrids and frequency regulation. It provides 5015.9kWh rated energy, a 1331.2Vdc nominal voltage and a wide operating voltage range of 1123.2–1497.6Vdc.

The system features smart liquid cooling, AI-based early warning, cloud monitoring and integrated fire suppression. With IP55 protection, Ethernet and RS485 communication, and operation at altitudes up to 4,000 metres, it delivers reliable energy storage for demanding outdoor installations.

The ESSC1000B-2150 model provides up to 2.15MWh nominal energy and is designed to deliver a high proportion of usable capacity under recommended operating conditions.

The system supports ≥5,000 cycles at 1C charge/discharge rate under standard test conditions, providing a strong foundation for long-term commercial operation.

It features separated electrical and battery compartments, intelligent air cooling, and a full fire suppression system, with IP54 ingress protection to helping reduce the risk of thermal runaway propagation within the system in harsh industrial environments.

The system supports flexible mode switching including peak shaving, frequency regulation, backup power, and microgrid integration, through the built-in EMS developed and optimized by MegSolid, operators can configure different operating strategies according to project requirements.

The outdoor cabinet series supports parallel connection of multiple units, while container models are modular-designed to Modular architecture allows scalable deployment from hundreds of kWh to multi-MWh energy storage projects, meeting both small commercial and large industrial power demands.

C&I energy storage efficiency must be evaluated for the exact system model and measurement boundary. The MegSolid 261.24kWh liquid-cooled system lists a maximum system efficiency of 90%. This value should not be interpreted as AC-to-AC round-trip efficiency unless the test defines the SOC window, charge and discharge power, temperature, battery state of health, and whether PCS, transformer, cooling and auxiliary losses are included. Buyers should request a model-specific efficiency test report under the intended project conditions.

The system supports simultaneous connection to load, battery, grid, DG, and PV, with multi-protocol communication (RS485, TCP/IP) for seamless integration with existing commercial EMS and SCADA systems.
